Happy Friday everyone! As summer is coming to a close and fall is right around the corner, most of us spent time in the sun this summer, and are willing to maintain our tan year round. No – it will not always be that perfect fresh sun tan that you got a week ago from the beach, but it can be close. Personally, I feel that when I am more tan I feel better in my skin and I truly look better. I choose to “Fake tan” the safe way (tanning beds can cause cancer, but you can choose if you’d like to take that risk) which is by using liquid bronzing serum.

My current favourite (and affordable – yes it retails for under 10$) is the L’oreal Sublime Bronze. This can be purchased at any drugstore, Wal-mart, or online.

First off, it is a sparkly brown consistency and when massaged into the skin it leaves it feeling soft, not sticky and within an hour gives it a nice tan tone. This product does not smell like fake tan so when you walk into a room no one will smell that you’re wearing something on  your skin. It has light sparkles but nothing too crazy. Also, it is not sticky and dries quickly on the surface of  your skin, so if you’re in rush to go somewhere just wait 5 mins and you  can get dressed.

One of the only issues I had with this product is that when it dries it can show some streaks in spots that you have missed, so ensure to use a tanning glove to balance and spread the tan properly, without leaving any streaks, or missing spots.

Overall, I highly recommend this tanning product, it is not only affordable, but you do get what you pay for – and more to look like a bronze goddess. L’oreal products never seem to disappoint. If you’re looking for a year round tan this is something I highly recommend.

Have you used this product? Will you be willing to try it? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you ladies

Hi ladies! Everyone loves facial scrubs and they are essential in cleaning the pores from deep in your skin. I am a big fan of all natural things when it comes to makeup, haircare and even what I put in my body. I have been using this early 3 ingredient facial scrub for a long time and it truly works effectively on any type of skin.

The 3 ingredients are:

  • 3 tbs Sugar
  • 1 cup of Honey
  • half of a fresh lemon, squeezed

These are great for your skin as the honey naturally nourishes and hydrates dry skin. Honey is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-aging, full of antioxidants and great for a natural glow. Sugar is great and works as an exfoliant, it is not too rough on this skin when massaged into your pores. Lastly, lemons, you can never go wrong with this. Its acidic base and its vast amount of Vitamin C aids in balancing out red spots on the face, and prevents acne. I am no scientist but I personally have seen the affects of these 3 combined on my skin, and it has worked wonders.

Try this out and let me know what you think ! Plus, it is so affordable you can just grab these ingredients from your kitchen!

OOTD – Neutral Tones: TopShop

Hello everyone, I’m back with another outfit of the day. The whole outfit is from TopShop, and is simple yet classy. The whole look is edgy, and super comfortable. I’m simply wearing a brown racerback tank top for only $6.00, black choker necklace and tight pencil skirt. The scrappy heels are from Aldo, and are not too high so it is easy to walk in them

These neutral tones are fun and sophisticated. Let me know what you think of this outfit!

Happy Monday! I thought I would start the day with some of my favourite perfumes, as perfume is one of the best beauty products that you can explore with and try out. Here are some of my all time faves that I enjoy wearing and are quite affordable. Little secret on where I purchase some perfumes for a cheaper cost: http://www.fragrancex.com – It has discounted perfumes online only. Check it out.

This scent is one of my all time favourites. It works great when going out since it is a sexy yet sweet smell. It is very sophisticated but also classy and can be worn to formal events. This scent is strong in the sense that it has a sharp sexy smell. I recommend wearing this at a night out or formal events, as it less of a sweet smell and more of a sexy smell that is best for big events.

This is another one of my favourites, (as all these perfumes that I will be sharing are), and it is also a sexy smell as the Versace. This one does not have a sweet side to it, it is more of a sharp clean and fresh scent. It has a strong sophisticated scent as well, a more powdery and floral scent that is very sexy as well. I prefer to wear more sharper sexier scents than floral, as it makes you come off more confident in my opinion. This scent is good for work and a night out, and perfect for a date night as it has an alluring mysterious scent to it.

Juicy couture never fails to have the greatest smelling perfumes. This one is currently my favourite of theirs, as it is a very sweet and fun smell. This is perfect for daily wear and it smells fantastic if you are one for sweet sugar smells. It lasts very long and I always get compliments that I smell good, with people asking me what it is that I am wearing. This is a great everyday smell.

What are your favourite perfumes, and did you try any of these ones? What perfumes should I try out next (as I am almost on the empty side of these ones)?

Have a great day!

Thank you!!

What are your ways to prepare/pack for a vacation?

Hi everyone! Here is another look of the night. Pink lips (for a pop of colour) and glitter gold eyes.

  1. Lipstick: REVLON

Revlon is one of my favourite lipsticks. They last long, go on smoothly and look great in photos. Not only this, but they are very affordable. This baby pink colour looks fabulous with a tan and any eye makeup.

2. For my eyelids I choose to use the Elf baked eyelids eyeshadow palette. I used the very light colour all over my eyelid and on the outer corner used a darker brown colour to make a cat eye effect. Adding some liquid eyeliner and mascara completed the look.

3. Bronzer – Hard Candy Baked Bronzer

To complete the look I used a baked bronzer by Hard Candy which is highly pigmented and adds sparkle to the final look, giving a nice glow.

This look is simple but fun and bright for a night out. The eye shadow is neutral so it can be used with any lipstick colour, I chose to go with a bubble gum pink this time. What did you think of this look, any recommendations on products?

Thank you !

Good morning ladies! Today is a great day as I went shopping and purchased some goodies yesterday. I decided to make a review on some of the products I purchased, as I am currently loving them all.

1. Sephora Collection – Radiant Luminizing Drops

This highlighter has a bronze glow, and is liquid consistency with some sparkle. It is great for going out and using as a highlighter on your cheekbones. All you need is a few drops and then using your finger you can rub it onto whatever part of your face to get a nice glow.  It is not sticky and goes on your skin smoothly.

2. Dry Shampoo – Verb

This dry shampoo works wonders – and adds volume to your hair. It does not have a strong scent and it is easy to apply. There is no reason to use alot of it, a little goes a long way. After applying it to your scalp let it sit for 2-3 mins, then rub it into your scalp.

3. Coconut Oil – Skinny Co.

As I stated in my Skin care routine, this coconut oil is amazing and also a little goes a long way. It is good for your face and even your body. It has a natural scent of coconut and does not stay sticky and oily, as you apply it to your skin it seeps into it and leaves your skin feeling soft without the grease. Just dip your fingers into the pot and then apply it onto your skin.

4. Bralette – Monerey Bralette

This braille from http://www.Aritizia.ca is amazing. The colour is a nude pink and the material is soft, it is a mixture of rayon and cotton. It works great under a tank top that shows the bra, or even for a night in you can wear this bra with some shorts, as it can be pulled off as a cute crop top. I love the natural colours and it makes you look very tan, if that’s a look you’re going for.

Thanks for reading ! What did you think about my haul? Will you try these products?

Thank you !
